Stunning scenery in outstanding locations, wild camping in light weight tents, tarps and horrendous weather, mountain hiking, dodgy navigation, great banter and bad language. If you want proffessionalism, you're in the wrong place!
Hiking duo Nath and Trev of Summit or Nothing have been out on the trail for almost three
years now, and apart from their exploration of Dartmoor, their expeditions and hikes have taken them from Bodmin Moor to Scotland, knocking off the three big UK Peaks, as well as several other
mountains along the way.
Below is a list of all of our FULL-LENGTH HIKING and WILD CAMPING videos, in order, so if you are interested then look no further than this comprehensive collection to see our steady progress from hapless amateurs to not quite as hapless hikers with a little more ground under our belts! Simply click on the thumbnails or Video titles to watch them, and see how, not only our knowledge and stamina improve, but also the quality of the videos.
Warning - the language is a bit ripe in the earlier videos... Well, what do you expect from two lads from the building trade.
This third Dartmoor Hike takes in the stunning Tors and sprawling landscape surrounding Great Links Tor, and it becomes clear that this is going to be a regular thing from here on. And so it is that Summit or Nothing was born.
The fourth outing becomes our first excursion in the grey cloud covered mist that we will come to know so well, and also includes the first Summit or Nothing shout and our first glimpse at a stone circle.
It was our first mountain, and our first trip away from Dartmoor, as we climbed Wales largest Mountain, Snowdon, on what would prove to be one of the busiest days of the year, that'll teach us for going hiking on an August bank holiday.
It seemed only right that whilst in Snowdonia, we should take in another mountain, and none seemed more alluring to us than the mighty Tryfan. Shame that the mist came in and highlighted just how awful our navigation skills are
You'd think that after our brush with disaster in Snowdonia that we may have took a bit more care navigating our way around the scenic landscape of East Dartmoor, miles in a fern forest is enough to put anyone off!
This was a great Dartmoor walk to get us back in the swing of things after the Christmas break, taking in a handful of awesome Tor's (including the impressive Sheepstor) all whilst circumnavigating the peaceful Burrator Reservoir.
The first-ever Summit or Nothing Hike and Wild Camp as the lads return to the Merrivale Area and take in several Tors in this fantastic area before spending a night on top of Great Mis in Nath's Vango Mirage 200.
Back in the High Willhays area of Dartmoor in this video for another viewer recommendation, and a wild camp under West Mill Tor. Stunning cloud inversions, Timelapse and endless hiking abound.
Our second excursion into the mountains, this time the lads are hiking in the Lake District to tick off Englands highest Peak, Scafell Pike. A misadventure in the mist, and Trev's boots give up the ghost. Will they manage to get back off the Mountain, and will Trev ever wear crocs?
No mountains here, but this Lake District walk allows the lads a little respite as they travel by Gondola across the beautiful Coniston Lake. Just as long as they dont miss the return boat home!
Tempers flare and limits are pushed. What was just a quick stop for a timelapse of the Lake District mountains soon turned into an impromptu dash up The Old Man Of Coniston. Well, Trev had been saying they should have done another mountain all day. Watch what you wish for, Trev!
The lads have done it again, another Welsh Mountain on an August Bank Holiday, they must love queuing for Trig Points. Hiking in the Brecon Beacons the lads take in the National Park's highest peak Pen Y Fan and surrounding mountains.
Calm down at the back of the class, its a mispronunciation. Nath and Trev finish off their Brecon Beacons Hiking Weekend with a walk from the opposite end, taking in Fan Y Big and the impressive glacial views.
Its the last outing before Christmas and the lads have opted for a change of scenery, and a stroll up to Exmoors highest point Dunkery Beacon.
Another Dartmoor Hike and Wild Camp, taking in Bleak House Ruins, once gaain near Great Links Tor. The last outing of a very productive year for Summit or Nothing, and maybe the lads should have quit whilst they were ahead! Wet, Windy, Winter... Why do we do this again?
This pair of idiots thought it would be a good idea to travel to the brecon Beacons for their first outing and wild camp up top. They couldn't even stand up let alone set up. In fact, they had a hard time trying to cross a river!
Ok, so after the last few abysmal outings and failed wild camps, it made sense for the lads to just chill out a bit, and this circular walk in the Gidlegh area of Dartmoor was just the ticket. Kestor Rock, Stone Circles, and a Nath's got a new hobby!
The Beast of the East struck, and the lads of Summit or Nothing catch the last whiff of snow on a walk around Princetown. Prisons, Quarry's and getting caught in the rain.
Finally, they can call themselves Mountainmen as the lads successfully camp on top of Cadair Idris in Snowdonia. Icy Cornflake rain, poetry on the brink of madness and a case of Idris Elbow.
Taking a look at Cornwall's Bodmin Moor today, and the hilariously names Brown Willy (Hours of fun right there). Stampeding Cows and fenced off boundaries couldn't stop us! At least Nath won't have to put up with Trev's Dartmoor Legends!
Trev's joined Nath in getting a tarp, and he can't wait to get out there and try it out. Where better than Dartmoor, literally meters away from the car. Gifts from viewers, water filter races and could it really be decent camping conditions?
Tut, tut, tut. The boys didnt realise that Hound Tor was a NO CAMPING spot, oh well. A great walk in the Hound Tor area, taking in the amazing scenery, whilst getting bit to death by insects and Trev's got a Dartmoor Legend Double Whammy!
They finally done it - finishing their first challenge as they stomp up the final of the three big UK peaks. What on Earth do they do next? Only time will tell, right?
After getting slapped wrists last time, the boys have made sure they are camping where they are allowed this week. A walk on the edge of Dartmoor, Nath has a new cook set and Trev has a brand new lightweight tent to try out!
After a lengthy hiatus from the screen, the hapless duo are back, and with Moby and a new drone they travel under the shadow of Brown Willy in search of King Arthurs Hall on Bodmin,
Again it had been ages since the lads had been out, especially wild camping camp, so Trev decided to look out onto the moors for a solo wild camp, camping on Dartmoor's Hare Tor and even witnessing the first snowfall of the season.
Nath's back for some more hiking and photography this time tor bagging in the Dartmeet area, crossing off more Dartmoor 365 and picking off yet another Peakery HIgh Point.
Trev manages to squeeze one more solo wild camp into 2018, and revisits Sheepstor to do so. More Wet and Windy Weather make for another great test for the Naturehike, and Trev ives some tips on how to keep warm whilst camping through the winter seasons.
It's the first walk of 2019, and the boys have slightly adapted a Dartmoor circular walk recommended to them by a long time viewer in Dartmoor's Peter Tavy area.
Trev's got a new tent and he's off to try it out for his first camp of the year. This is a mid-winter solo camp with a difference, the difference being... there is no wind or rain. Great views, great stew and some stunning morning scenes.
This was to be the last episode of Summit or Nothing to feature Nathan, as the lads ventured up to Cosdon Beacon for a wintery hike on some bleak snow covered Dartmoor terrain. Some great scenery and challenging ground.
Joined by Youtuber Trangia chef Thom from Off The Beaten Pot, Trev heads up onto Dartmoor for his first collaboration, which seemes to go well until their wild camp on the sideof a tor is hit by 60mile winds. Makes a good video, though, eh?
Having moved within minutes of the moor, Trev decided to pack up the tarp and set off onto Dartmoor for an impromptu ultralight wild camp at the site of Dartmoor legend Branscombes Loaf
Trev is joined by his good friend Stan for this second wild camp at Great Mis Tor. The weather is fantastic if not very cold, and the views are amazing as the guys camp in the Lanshan 2 and NatureHike Star River 2 Ultralight tents.
Trev is once again joined by Thom from Off the Beaten Pot, for some hiking, cooking and camping on Dartmoor, as they search for Broad Falls. Trev tries out the OEX Phoxx 2 tent, and Thom gives his MSR another go.
Out on his own tonight, Trev ventures up to some more unchartered territory, and takes in Dartmoors Doe Tor for a bit of an impromptu solo camp, getting out in his Naturehike Star River 2.
Trev is joined by friends for his first trip out side of the South West since him and Nath hiked up Ben Nevis. A camping and hiking trip in the Brecon Beacons in South Wales begins with a liesurly hike beside some amazing waterfalls.
Continuinig their Brecon Beacons excursion, Trev and his friends venture up top of Pen Y Fan, via the Pan Y Fan Horseshoe, and after being treated to some spectacular views of cloud inversion from the summit, they pitch up top for the first mountain top wild camp of the year!
Trev goes hiking in the Lake District and a walk up Helvellyn with fellow YouTuber, Alan Metalman. Tackling England's 3rd tallest mountain this circular walk is a breathtaking look at some of the Lake Districts amazing sights.
Continuing his Lake District Hiking with fellow YouTuber Alan Metalman, Trev is shown to the beautiful Easdale Tarn for a lakeside wild camp in the mountains.
Although just a very short video, this is the conclusion to Trev's Lake District excursion with Alan Metalman, and a quick walk up Hallen Fell where the views from the top are well worth the climb.
Although a coast walk, it seems fitting that video #50 should combine both the coast walking and the wild camping and so this 2 day hike across West Devons stunning coast line finds its way into this playlist too.
Or Summit or Nothing - The next Generation. Trev is joined by his middle child for a spot of wild camping on Dartmoor, at Great Stple Tor, where they are visited by a fox, a pack of wild ponies and some evil sheep.
One last trip of the summer, Trev managed to get back to Snowdonia for a spot of mountain hiking, scrambling and wild camping on Moel Siabod via the Daer Ddu scramble route with YouTuber Joss.
Back on home turf, and following a route from Country Walking magazine, Trev takes in ten tors in this beautiful circular walk around Haytor with this afternoon solo hike.
